MIDDLETOWN — A Middletown man was arrested and charged after police found methamphetamine in his home.

On Dec. 11 around 9 a.m., the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force (B.U.R.N.) issued a search warrant in the 3100 block of Wilbraham Road.

During the search warrant, officers seized a 9 mm handgun and five grams of methamphetamine inside the home.
The resident, Leon Shaver III was arrested and charged with Possession of Drugs, Weapons Under Disability, and Tampering with Evidence, all third-degree felonies.
Shavers is being held at the Middletown City Jail.
