Look for Jupiter this week near the moon

Clouds should cooperate Thursday and Friday nights to use the thin crescent moon to find Jupiter.

The sun will set around 7 p.m. Thursday with Jupiter setting around 9 p.m.

Use that window to look to the southwest sky to find the moon next to the planet Jupiter. On Friday evening around the same time, look for the moon to the top left of Jupiter.
