Long-time West Carrollton educator dies from injuries after crash

WEST CARROLLTON — West Carrollton City Schools are mourning the loss of a long-time teacher.

School officials announced Thursday that middle school and high school teacher Pam Jacobs died Wednesday after being in a car crash over the weekend.

“Anyone who met Pam was immediately greeted by her warm and engaging personality, and these qualities made her a beloved teacher and colleague of so many,” school officials said in a post on social media.

Jacobs was an educator at West Carrollton City Schools for 24 years. Officials said she was a “mentor for new teachers and promoted student exposure to the arts through her work with the Muse Machine.”
