QUINCY, Logan County — A Quincy man is facing a federal charge of distributing child pornography after the FBI said he sent child porn to an undercover agent on the social media app Kik.
Tyler Brandyberry is currently out of jail after a judge released him on his own recognizance, online court records read. He was arrested Jan. 4.

Brandyberry is accused of committing the crimes between September and December last year.
According to federal court documents, Brandyberry private messaged an undercover FBI agent while he was a member of the Kik chat group “#TweetAmateur.”
During the conversation with undercover FBI agents, Brandyberry was accused of sending multiple videos and photos of child porn involving children from approximately 4 years-old to 13 years-old, a compliant filed in U.S. District Court read.
Brandyberry’s next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
