Local woman steals close to $200 in dog food

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — Authorities are looking for information regarding a woman who stole a couple hundred dollars worth of dog food from a Butler Township Petland.

The theft occurred on Friday, June 15, and the woman allegedly almost hit an employee with her car as she was fleeing.

The license plate on the vehicle was stolen from another car and it did not lead detectives to the suspect.
