MASON — Kings Island announced it will open for Passholder Preview Days in May, according to our news partner WCPO.
Normally the park opens in mid-April, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the park will open its gates on Saturday May 8 to passholders.

Kings Island has also not yet announced an official opening date for the general public, though that is usually about a week after preview days.
Park spokesman Chad Showalter told our news partner that “the full schedule, including any update to safety protocols or park operations will be announced at a later date.”
Sister park Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, will open Friday, May 14 to everyone, so it is possible Kings Island might open to the public then.
