KETTERING — A Kettering man is facing criminal charges after being accused of running a brothel.
Juan Manuel Lopez Gomez, 37, was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury Tuesday on promoting prostitution and procuring, according to Montgomery County Common Pleas Court records.

An undercover investigation led Kettering Police to learn that Gomez was allegedly running a brothel in the 4300 block of Shroyer Road, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
“An undercover officer agreed to meet with a suspected prostitute at the location of the brothel before a search warrant was executed,” a spokesperson for the prosecutor’s office.
Gomez is not currently in custody, but is scheduled to appear in court next on May 2.
