KETTERING — Kettering Fairmont H.S. students and staff were notified today that a classmate has succumbed to his injuries and died from suicide.
The incident, which happened on Saturday, prompted the district to postpone a boys varsity basketball team playoff game Saturday night.
Grief counselors were available to students at the school Sunday and continue to be made available today, according to an email from the district.
Warning signs of suicide:

Talking about being a burden to others
Increasing the use of alcohol or drugs
Acting anxious, agitated or recklessly
Sleeping too little or too much
Withdrawing or feeling isolated
Showing rage or talking about seeking revenge
