The crash was reported on Paragon Road near the I-675 overpass in Washington Twp. around 8:30 a.m.

A preliminary investigation found the school bus attempted to turn left onto Paragon Road from Normandy Ridge Road and “failed to yield the right of way,” and was hit by a car traveling south, deputies said in a media release.

The driver of the car was transported to Southview Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Twelve students were on the bus but were not injured in the crash, deputies said. The bus driver was also not injured.
