HIV-positive woman arrested after offering sex for money to undercover detective, records show

DAYTON — A woman is facing felony charges for engaging in soliciting for sex along North Main Street after being HIV positive for nearly two decades.

Tiffany Anderson, 41, was arrested by Dayton police after she was spotted getting into a white work van and then returning to the same area to get out of the same van.

“In the area of East Beechwood Avenue and North Main Street Anderson approached and entered the front passenger seat of undercover detectives unmarked police car,” a court record read.

Anderson and the undercover detective drove around the city and records accuse her of offering sex for money.

While police interviewed Anderson after her arrest, “it was also learned Anderson is HIV positive and has been so for 18 years.”

Anderson was arrested Thursday and is in the Montgomery County Jail awaiting arraignment on three felony charges.
