Gas prices went down in Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley over the last week.
Average retail gas prices in Dayton have fallen 15.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.35 per gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 391 gas outlets in Dayton.
This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.31 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.
According to GasBuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in Dayton is $2.38, with prices staying steady. The cheapest gas, as of this morning, is $2.22 at the Valero on S. Smithville Road and Huffman Avenue.
In Hamilton, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.46, with prices falling. The cheapest gas is $2.35 at the Five Points Market on Grand Boulevard near Tylersville Road.
In Springfield, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.38, with prices staying stable. The cheapest gas is $2.23 at the Valero at East Home Road and Northmoor Drive.
