DAYTON — Funeral services were held Saturday for a University of Cincinnati student from Moraine who was fatally struck by a car.

18-year-old Cayden Turner was hit and killed as she and her roommate crossed a street near the UC campus on Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Visitation was scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Corinthian Baptist Church at 700 S. James H. McGee Blvd. in Dayton, according to Turner’s obituary. Funeral services were set to take place at the church at 11 a.m. following visitation.
“Cayden truly enjoyed working for her first employer Chick-fil-A and had recently earned an award as team leader of the quarter in July 2022,” her obituary said. “Cayden enjoyed shopping, writing, reading, and learning web design. Her infectious smile would light up a room and brought so much joy to those who knew her.”
