The city of Kettering and DayAir Credit Union partnered to offer a free shred day for Kettering residents.
The event is from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Kettering Government Center, 3600 Shroyer Road.

For the shred event:
- Only household shredding will be accepted, no commercial or business shredding
- Members of the Kettering Fire Department and other city staff will remove items for shredding, so residents won't need to get out of their cars
- Papers must be in cardboard boxes or other containers and not placed in trash bags or other plastic bags.
