MIAMI VALLEY — Some Fourth of July weekend parades have either been canceled or pushed back today due to the weather Saturday morning.

The City of Huber Heights canceled the Star-Spangled Heights parade, It was scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
But the rain isn’t stopping the city’s fireworks display planned for 10 p.m.
“Raine or Shine! Fireworks at 10 p.m.,” the City of Huber Heights wrote on its Facebook page.
Cloud Park will be full of vendors, rides and dozens of food trucks like Augstina Deleon’s.
Deleon owns a gourmet popsicle truck and said if the weather gets bad at least she can pack up and go.
“We kind of play it by ear so if it gets worse tonight, then we’re prepared to go ahead and go but the fireworks will go on tonight rain or shine,” Deleon said.
While rain or thunder may not cancel the fireworks, wind could.
Organizers said if the wind reaches up to 30 miles per hour they cannot set them off.

The New Madison Fourth of July committee also announced the cancellation of the Grand Parade, organizers wrote on social media.
It was scheduled by the local fire department, and they decided to cancel it for today.
The Fort Loramie Liberty Days Parade pushed back the start of today’s parade from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. this afternoon, organizers announced on social media.
They also said there may be additional updates to their afternoon activities as well.
