A hole about 29-feet deep that was discovered in the front yard of a Beavercreek home earlier this month was determined to be an old well.
On April 7, the homeowner said her son was outside when he heard a hissing sound, and upon investigation, discovered the hole in the front yard of the home on King James Drive.
After some investigating, it was detmined that the house was built on top of an old well. The home was built more than 20 years ago.
The hole is about two feet wide and 29 feet deep.
