DAYTON — The Foodbank hosted a mass food distribution for Montgomery County residents in need of food assistance Thursday afternoon.
The food distribution started at 11:00 a.m. and ran through 1:00 p.m. at the University of Dayton’s Welcome Stadium.

People those were asked to line up no earlier than 9 a.m. for food preparation and safety purposes, The Foodbank said in a release.
Premier Health and Equitas Health was onsite, offering optional COVID-19 vaccines and optional HIV Testing.
“We are looking forward to again providing Montgomery County residents with the support they need during this difficult time as people are working to get back on their feet,” Michelle L. Riley, CEO of The Foodbank, stated. “A special thanks to the University of Dayton and CareSource for making this distribution possible.”
