An initial investigation showed that a 1970 John Deere farm tractor, driven by 41-year-old Michael Toschlog, was traveling west on Crubaugh Road when a malfunction with the front two tires caused the tractor to go off the road and overturn in a field, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Michael was trapped for roughly 30 minutes. After crews were able to free him, Michael was flown to Kettering Hospital Main Campus where he died.
His son was ejected from the tractor and transported to Reid Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
