Facts and figures: The search for missing Miamisburg woman continues

SUGARCREEK TWP. — The second day of searches for a missing Miamisburg woman are under way at a Greene County park.

Federal, state and local law enforcement are at Sugarcreek MetroPark, which may have been one of the last places Chelsey Coe was seen before she went missing.

Here are some facts and figures from the searches:

  • About 25 people from the Miamisburg Police Department and FBI are involved in the searches today, which is around the same number as Tuesday.
  • There are about 10 K-9 handlers involved, some with two dogs.
  • All of the handlers and dogs are private units, but were trained for this work.
  • The Ohio BCI does not have any crime scene agents on the searches, but it did have several on the Lower Miamisburg Road searches.
  • BCI has crime intelligence analysts continuing to work the case with Miamisburg police.
  • Five Rivers MetroParks rangers and other employees have provided logistical support.
  • The Sugarcreek Reserve has 618 acres in the park.
