The Ohio Attorney General’s Office, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Miami Valley Fire District and the Ohio Sea Grant are partnering to host the event.
“Ohioans in the greater Dayton area are urged to clean out medicine cabinets and drop off any prescription drugs that are no longer needed or have expired – no questions asked,” the spokesperson said.
A drive-thru will be available for quick drop-off, according to the Miami Valley Fire District.
“Safe disposal of medications can help to ensure that the drugs don’t end up in the wrong hands,” the spokesperson said.
