DoorDash-like delivery service launching in Dayton today is locally run

DAYTON — A local food delivery service launching today will provide Daytonians with a new way to get delivery from their favorite restaurants in the Oregon District and surrounding area.

937 Delivers will begin operations today from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with normal business hours following launch day.

HOURS:

  • Monday-Thursday: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Friday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“While the service will feel similar to a Doordash or Uber Eats, we’re a co-op owned by the restaurants we service and the employees who work for us,” organizers said in a Facebook post.

Restaurants participating in the delivery service include: The Dublin Pub, Lily’s Dayton, The Pizza Bandit, Butter Cafe, Franco’s Ristorante Italiano, Trolley Stop, UNO Pizzeria & Grill, Ghostlight Coffee, Fantasma Taco, Phebe’s Cafe, Oregon Express Bar and Restaurant and Smokin’ Barbeque.

937 Delivers will be delivering to a 5-mile radius from Downtown Dayton.
