DAYTON — UPDATE @ 2:28 p.m.:
A woman was reportedly stabbing during an altercation with a man behind a North Main Street restaurant in Dayton.
The suspect, a man, is known to frequent the restaurant with the woman, police said.
The woman was taken to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
INITIAL REPORT:
Dayton police are investigating a reported stabbing this afternoon on North Main Street.
Officers responded to the 800 block of North Main around 1:30 p.m.
Initial emergency dispatch reports indicated a woman was stabbed and her injuries were not initially believed to be life threatening.
Police said they were looking for a black male wearing a Dallas Cowboys jacket, light ripped jeans, a black, white and grey hat and may have left in a Chevrolet Trail Blazer, according to an emergency dispatch broadcast.
