DAYTON — Dayton firefighters are investigating after they were called to the Stratacache Tower in downtown Dayton Monday.
Just before 8 p.m., firefighters were called to the Stratacache Tower on North Main Street to reports of multiple fire alarms, according to Capt. Tyler McCoy with the Dayton Fire Department.
McCoy said when firefighters arrived the alarm panel reported fire alarms activated on floors 19 through 23.
After investigating firefighters found a fire in the electrical room on floor 20.

All fire was isolated to the 20th floor, although smoke was seen from the 19th floor up to the 25th.
No one was injured by the fire, and all occupants in the building were able to get out, McCoy said.
McCoy said there were challenges battling a fire so high up, as crews could not use the elevators — instead they had to carry their equipment up the 20 flights of stairs.
Firefighters from Kettering and Harrison Township were called to help with the labor-intensive process.
Information about the cause of the fire was not immediately available and McCoy said it remains under investigation.
