Male shot in Greene County ‘domestic’ dispute is in hospital; 2 remain jailed

UPDATE @ 9:30 p.m.: The man shot and wounded in what is described as a domestic dispute on Bone Road near Jamestown remains in a hospital, while the two people arrested in the incident remain in jail awaiting court action on their charges.

Frank Flaugher, the victim, was in serious but stable condition, according to his brother.

Neighbors called 9-1-1 when Flaugher showed up at their address, injured and asking for help. According to one of the neighbors who called for help, Flaugher said he had been shot in the stomach at the house on Bone Road.

Angela Caudill, 43, and Kristoffer Sulek, 21, both remain detained in the Greene County Jail each on $25,000 bond on charges of aggravated felonious assault and aggravated assault.

According to the preliminary investigation by the sheriff's office, Flaugher, Caudill and Sulek live together.

At 12:18 a.m. Tuesday, deputies and medics responded to the 3000 block of Bone Road on a report of a person shot. They found a male victim who was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.

A vehicle matching the description of a suspect vehicle that left the scene was stopped on U.S. 68, just south of Columbus Street, about 12:30 a.m.

In a conversation captured by deputy’s body cam microphone during their apprehension, Caudill told the deputy “there might be a man shot” at the address on Bone Road.

Caudill and Sulek were “brought in from the scene” and jailed. Early indications are that the shooting is the result of a “domestic dispute,” according to the sheriff’s office.
