CINCINNATI — Coney Island’s attempt to break a world record Friday night was halted due to the park going over capacity.
The park was attempting to establish a new world record for the most people down a water slide in 24 hours.
The park was going to remain open overnight to keep the clock going, according to our news partners at WCPO.

Those attending the park would not have to pay admission or parking if they came between midnight and 10 a.m.
Friday night at around 11 p.m. the park posted on their social media “our World Record attempt for most people down a water slide today has ended now due to over capacity issues at the Park.”
Information about refunds or how many people were actually in the park is not available at this time.
We will update this story as we learn more.
