Child taken to hospital after being hit by car in Harrison Twp.

HARRISON TWP. — A child was taken to the hospital after reportedly being hit by a car in Harrison Township Tuesday evening.

Just before 6 p.m. Harrison Township deputies were called to the 1800 block of Palisades Drive to report of a pedestrian hit by a car, according to Montgomery County regional dispatch.

A child had been hit by a car while they were on a bike, according to dispatch notes.

The car that allegedly hit them was said to have left the scene.

Dispatch notes indicated that one medic left the scene and went to Dayton Children’s Hospital.

We are working to learn the condition of the child and if the driver faces any charges.
