RIVERSIDE — A 4-year-old pulled from the bottom of a swimming pool on Hearthside Court is expected to make a full-recovery, according to Riverside police.
Officers and medics responded to the house in the 5500 block of Hearthside around 7:30 p.m. Friday after receiving a report of the child being found at the bottom of the pool.
The homeowner told police the child was the son of a friend that had come to the house to swim in the evening, according to a Riverside police report.
Police believe the incident was an accident.
The homeowner, who is a retired medic from the military, immediately performed CPR on the boy until medics took over and transported him to Dayton Children’s Hospital.
