Centerville Kroger set to host grand re-opening celebration today

CENTERVILLE — Today, the Kroger on South Main Street in Centerville will be holding a grand re-opening.

According to a press release, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 8:00 a.m. Friday, July 29.

The first 300 customers at 7:00 a.m. will receive a $10 Kroger gift card and the chance to win tickets to the Newport Aquarium.

Centerville’s Mayor and other officials will also be in attendance at the re-grand opening of the store.

“We are excited to offer this fresh new look of the Centerville store just in time for families to prepare for back-to-school season,” said Jenifer Moore, division corporate affairs manager.

The remodel cost $2 million and includes updated décor and refreshed produce, meat, and seafood departments.
