ENGLWOOD — UPDATE: 2:30 p.m.

New video has been released showing the moment a pursuit involving Englewood police ended in multi-vehicle crash.

According to Englewood police, an officer on routine patrol saw a vehicle he had previously pursued last month. The vehicle was improperly registered, and like last month, the driver failed to pull over.

The pursuit started at Kroger and ended with a crash on Union Road at Old Salem Road, police said. The pursuit was one mile in length.

Police say the suspect, a 75-year-old man, struck two vehicles, sending both drivers to the hospital with minor injuries.

The suspect was transported to the hospital for non-crash-related health reasons. according to police.

Police say the suspect’s female passenger was treated, released from the hospital, and then incarcerated on outstanding warrants.

The suspect is facing a charge of Failure to Comply, police said.

A pursuit involving Englewood police ended in a crash in Clayton Sunday morning.

Englewood dispatch confirmed police were pursuing a vehicle that ended up crashing in the area of Old Salem Road and Union Road. The crash was reported around 9:15 a.m., according to initial reports.

Video obtained from the scene shows multiple vehicles were involved in the crash.

According to dispatch, at least four people were transported to an area hospital, including the suspect involved in the pursuit and at least two passengers from the suspect vehicle.
