Carillon Historical Park hosts 27th annual Ringing in the Holidays celebration

DAYTON — Carillon Historical Park will host its 27th annual Ringing in the Holidays celebration Saturday evening.

The public is invited to Carillon Historical Park for the event on November 19th at 6:30 p.m.

The park will feature holiday music from Todd the Fox, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar—all included with the purchase of a ticket.

Plus, the Ringing in the Holidays favorite, Dayton’s Most Delightful Dessert Contest, will be featuring delights from The Cakery, Purely Sweet, and other local confectioners, the spokesperson for the event stated. The contest will present Critic’s Choice, People’s Choice, and Best Presentation awards.

For those looking to shop, guests can participate in a silent auction or purchase festive gifts from the Museum Store’s Christmas Shoppe.

The store will also feature limited edition Carillon Park Railroad commemorative ornaments designed by Andrews Dennis as a part of the All Aboard! train theme.

Finally, the Winter Getaway Raffle returns with a first prize Getaway Trip for two. The trip features round-trip economy airfare and a two-night stay from one of 11 locations Montage International Hotels & Resorts. The second prize winner will get a Private Tavern Dinner, which includes a 1830s-style four-course dinner for 16 people at Dayton’s oldest building.

Proceeds from the event will support the park and the museum, the spokesperson said.
