Coroner identifies woman killed in rollover crash in Miami Co.

MIAMI COUNTY — A woman has died after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Miami County.

Shelby Bowser, 21, of Arcanum has been identified as the woman who died in the crash by the Miami County Coroner’s Office.

We called the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, and they confirmed crews were called to a crash in the 10000 Block of Fenner Road around 12:30 a.m.

Previous reports suggested the driver crashed into a pole. However, new information shows she did not.

The sheriff’s office told us Bowser drove off the road, causing her vehicle to roll over.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found Bowser lying under the vehicle.

Miami County Sheriff Dispatch originally told us Bowser was transported to an area hospital via CareFlight.

New information shows CareFlight was at the crash ready to take Bowser to the hospital, however, medics pronounced her dead at the scene before crews could transport her.

Further details have not been given at this time.
