1 flown by medical helicopter after motorcycle crash in Greene County

SUGARCREEK TWP. — One person was flown by medical helicopter after a crash involving two motorcycles in Greene County Monday night, according to investigators.

The crash was reported around 7:45 p.m. on Wilmington Dayton Road at Ferry Road in Sugarcreek Twp.

Police said the crash happened after the first biker was slowing down to turn on Ferry Road, and the second biker did not slow down in time and clipped the back of the first biker. One of the motorcyclists was injured in the crash, investigators said.

News Center 7 crew on scene reported that Sugarcreek Twp. Police arrived to the crash and performed CPR on the biker until medics arrived.

Once medics arrived, they worked to stabilize the biker until CareFlight could get to the scene.

The person was transported to Miami Valley Hospital, and emergency crews said the man had serious internal injuries however their condition was not released.

The injured biker was not wearing a helmet, police said.
