Car, other items stolen from man who was pushed from balcony in Dayton

A 2004 Honda Pilot was stolen Thursday on Clifton Drive after a male fell from a balcony in the 600 block.

The 911 caller stated her boyfriend, who had been driving the car earlier in the day, fell off the balcony and that his phone and keys were also missing.

A neighbor reportedly told the 911 caller that a resident took items out of the victim’s pockets after he fell.

After police arrived on scene, they spoke to a woman who said the victim came to her apartment the night before “to party.”

She said the victim was already intoxicated and continued drinking before becoming aggressive. The woman then pushed him out of her front door because of his behavior, but he fell over the railing.

The woman told police she called a medic and took items out of his pocket “so he wouldn’t get in trouble.”

The woman also said her friend took the Honda Pilot after medics left the scene, but told police she wasn’t close with the friend she “just met.”

Police put out a broadcast for the gray 2004 Honda Pilot.

No arrests have been made in this incident.
