A teacher who recently went on medical leave from Wayne High School while she battles cancer received a special performance from the school’s marching band when they surprised her at her home.
The Wayne High School marching band performed on the front-lawn of business teacher Lorraine Perna Monday afternoon.
At least one student made a sign in support of Perna by showing a sign that read “We fight together! We love you Mrs. Perna!”
