CINCINNATI — The man accused of murder related to the deadly Cameo Night Club shooting pleaded not guilty to a 38 count indictment on Monday.
Prosecutors believe 27-year-old Cornell Beckley is the man who started the shootout that killed two people and injured more than a dozen others inside the Cameo nightclub in March.
A trial for Beckley is scheduled to start 9 a.m. on May 30. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for April 21.

Deondre Davis, the other man charged with murder in the case, died April 4 after his family took him off life support. Davis’ charges were dismissed following his death.
The Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office has said a third gun was found, but an additional suspect has not been taken into custody.

Davis was one of two people killed as a result of the nightclub shooting. O’Bryan Spikes, 27, was fatally shot. Sixteen others were wounded by gunfire.
In March, Cameo Night Club voluntarily surrendered its liquor permit, and the owner permanently closed the nightclub.
