The Holiday Inn Express on West Main Street was evacuated and searched this morning following a bomb threat.
No bomb was found when police from Tipp City and three police canines from the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base searched the hotel, said Sgt. Chris Graham of Tipp City.
Authorities responded to the scene, 1100 W. Main Street, just before 7 a.m. after a man called the threat into the hotel, investigators said.
About 30 guests were evacuated.
"There was no bomb in the building. It appears as though it was a prank call or sorts. But in these situations we have to take these threats seriously," Graham said. "We can tell you now there was never a danger."
No one was injured in the incident.
