BELLEFONTAINE, Logan County — A boil advisory has been issued for some people in Bellefontaine after a water main repair on Monday, according to the city’s water department.

People under this advisory have been asked to boil water for at least five minutes before consuming it.

The department also asks people to let their water run and clear up if it is discolored or cloudy.
The following areas are under a boil advisory:
- 908 to 1001 Rush Avenue
- 116 to 300 Blair Avenue
The water department has to collect and test samples before lifting the boil advisory.
