Tiller-type tool used by vandals to damage Beavercreek golf course; police seek information

BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek police are looking for whoever used equipment to damage hole six at the Beavercreek Golf Club over the weekend.

The damage happened Friday night into Saturday morning after someone used a tiller-type tool to cause damage to the fairway of the course.

Investigators said it is the second time in the last two months that the hole had been damaged by someone. Staff had just worked Friday to restore previous damage, which was caused by a weed/grass killing chemical.

Police are asking anyone that lives along the course to review any surveillance video to possibly help in the investigation.
