Barnes & Noble set to permanently close location near Dayton Mall

MIAMI TOWNSHIP — The Barnes and Noble bookstore located near the Dayton Mall has announced they will be permanently closing next month.

According to a post on the bookstore’s Facebook page, they will be closing their doors on February 13.

The post goes on to say they are closing down due to the landlord redeveloping the site and opting not to renew their lease.

“We have truly enjoyed serving our customers in Dayton Mall for the past 25 years and would have loved to have continued for many more,” the post read.

The company is in active discussions with new landlords to replace the store.
