A female bicyclist from Austrailia was struck and killed overnight Saturday in Wayne County, Ind.
Deputies responded at 3:38 a.m. to the crash in the area of 8967 U.S. 40 West, according to Wayne County Sheriff Jeff Cappa.
A vehicle driven by 24-year-old Clifford Henry, of Centerville, Ind., struck the bicyclist and evidence indicates both were eastbound when the crash happened.
The victim, whose identity has not been released pending notification of family, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
