Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office is investigating Waynesfield woman’s death

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday released some details of an ongoing death investigation involving a 35-year-old Waynesfield woman found dead Saturday in an apartment in the 200 block of Karen Street.

Waynesfield Twp. EMS, dispatched to the address about 5:30 p.m. July 8 on a report of an unresponsive female, found the woman. She has been identified as Erin Mulcahy, of that address, Sheriff Al Solomon and village Police Chief Nathan Motter said in a prepared statement released Tuesday.

The Lucas County Coroner's Office is performing the autopsy as the cause of death is not known.

The case remains under investigation, Solomon said in the statement, and more details will be released as new details become available.
