Suspect arrested in connection to Harrison Twp. gas station armed robbery

HARRISON TWP. — UPDATE @ 7:25 a.m: Deputies have arrested and booked a suspected armed robber into jail after Om Oil gas station was robbed Sunday night.

Davion Hummons, 21, was booked into Montgomery County Jail suspected of aggravated robbery, according to online jail records, though he has not been formally charged.

Hummons was arrested after deputies located he and his vehicle at the Valero gas station on 2800 Philadelphia Drive following the robbery, per a release by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the release, deputies were dispatched to the gas station, located at 5435 North Dixie Drive, on a reported aggravated robbery. A preliminary investigation revealed that a man entered the store, displayed a gun, and demanded money from the register.

After receiving the undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the store in a vehicle, south on North Dixie.

The incident remains under investigation.

Deputies responded to a Harrison Twp. gas station late Sunday night for an armed robbery.

Initial reports indicate around 11:30 p.m., a suspect entered the Om Oil gas station, located at 5435 North Dixie Drive, displayed a handgun and left with cash.

The robber is described as a tall male, wearing all black clothing with a bandanna on his face, according to a police broadcast.

He reportedly fled south on Dixie in a gold Chrysler 200.

The same gas station was robbed a few months ago in July by another armed individual. No arrests were made in that incident.
