Nearly $1,400 stolen in armed robbery at Danbarry Dollar Saver

MIAMI TWP. — UPDATE @2:45 p.m.

Nearly $1,400 was reported stolen in an armed robbery at a Miami Twp. movie theater this past weekend, according to police.

Miami Twp. police records show $1,370 was taken Saturday afternoon at the Danbarry Dollar Saver near the Dayton Mall by two offenders who remain at-large. A hand gun was used in the aggravated robbery that occurred just after 3 p.m. at the Lyons Ridge Road theater, police records state.

Police are searching for two robbers, possibly juveniles, who held up Danbarry Dollar Saver near the Dayton Mall in Miami Twp.

The armed robbery was reported around 3 p.m. at the cinema, 8300 Lyons Ridge Drive, according to Montgomery County Regional dispatch.

Crews requested a K-9 to help track the suspects, who reportedly showed a handgun.

No injuries were reported.
