REGIONAL — Some area schools are delayed today.

Richmond Community Schools announced on social media that they are on a two-hour delay due to flooding conditions.
“Buses will run 2 hours late. Please drive carefully, reduce speed, and watch for kids crossing streets. Stay alert and safe,” the school district said.

Community Christian School in Wayne County is also on a two-hour delay.
Randolph Southern Jr. Sr. High School in Randolph County announced in a social media post that they are on a two-hour delay.
“Classes will begin at 10:00 a.m.,” the school said.
