Anytime Fitness in Centerville abruptly closes

CENTERVILLE — The Anytime Fitness on South Main Street in Centerville abruptly closed this week after the franchise owner could not come to an agreement on a new lease with the property owner, a spokesperson said Friday.

A sign alerting potential customers of the closing was posted on the gym's door Friday morning.

The franchise owner said they had hundreds of members at the location, however those members memberships are transferable to other Anytime Fitness locations in the area.

The Centerville location was the only location impacted by the closure, the franchise owner said.

The nearest Anytime Fitness locations are at 6254 Wilmington Pike in Bellbrook, at 1953 South Alex Road in West Carrollton, and at 3137 Far Hills Ave. in Kettering.
