Amanda the Panda inspires social media scavenger hunt

VANDALIA — A stuffed animal is sparking joy over social media in Vandalia.

Amanda the Panda was found discarded by Dave Condy who decided to turn her into something positive for the community.

“It kind of happened on it’s own to be honest with you,” explained Condy. “She got out there on Facebook and everyone loved seeing her and she loved being around everyone else.”

The panda has been spotted around Vandalia, bringing joy to its residents.

“She’s not done,” explained Condy. “I’m telling you she has some big big things coming in the future and she is going to be documented in the history of Vandalia and there’s more to come on Amanda the Panda.”
