MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — Aldi will be moving into the building that was home to the former Barnes & Noble bookstore that closed last month on Miamisburg Centerville Road
“Aldi will be renovating the existing structure. The are planning both interior modifications and facade and site improvements,” said Alex Carlson, Deputy Director of Community Development at Miami Twp.

The zoning certificate for property renovation was issued Thursday.
“This store will replace the existing West Carrollton location at 203 Springboro Pike,” said Sarah Brown, Aldi’s Springfield Division Vice President. “We’ve proudly served the Dayton community for over 25 years, and we are excited to provide residents an improved shopping experience at the new Dayton store.”
Construction fencing surrounding the site on Wednesday afternoon.
Aldi said it hopes to open the store sometime this summer.
