Airline announces new non-stop flight from Dayton

DAYTON — Dayton International Airport has announced that American Airlines will begin a new seasonal non-stop flight to its departure schedule this summer.

Starting June 5, 2021 American Airlines will fly non-stoop between Dayton and Orlando. The flight will operate through Labor Day 2021.

Brain Znotins, American Airlines vice president of network planning said the airline is “thrilled” to offer the new service in time for summer and give “local travelers the opportunity to experience the wonder of Orlando.”

The addition of the non-stop flight is in response to the increase leisure demand, according to City of Dayton Director of Aviation Gil Turner.

Tickets for the non-stop flights will become available for purchase beginning April 19.
