5 injured in crash on North Dixie Drive in Vandalia Sunday afternoon

VANDALIA — Five people are injured after a two-vehicle crash at North Dixie Drive and Jewelstone Drive in Vandalia.

Crews on scene confirm that four people were taken to the hospital, including one child.

Initial reports indicate some of the victims may have been trapped inside the vehicle before emergency crews were able to get them out.

All injuries are non life-threatening, according to investigators.
