2 arrests made during latest Dayton Service Initiative Enforcement detail

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is releasing the results of their latest Dayton Service Initiative Enforcement detail.

Troopers, along with the Dayton Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Butler Twp. Police Department and Vandalia Police Department, conducted their most recent detail on March 6. Their focus was on Dixie Drive.

During the detail, officers made 43 traffic stops which resulted in two misdemeanor drug arrests. Stops resulted in 14 traffic tickets, two seat belt tickets, one driver’s license ticket and six other miscellaneous tickets. There were also 17 warnings given out.

Troopers said this was the initiative’s first detail since expanding to include Butler Twp., Vandalia, Huber Heights, Moraine and Riverside.
