DARKE COUNTY — A 19-year-old was killed and another woman was seriously hurt in a crash on Alternate Ohio 49 Tuesday night ended with a vehicle crashing into a home.
Deputies responded to the crash at the intersection of Alt. SR 49 E and Gordon Landis Road around 6:15 p.m.

Brooke Groves, 19, of Brookville was killed in the crash, deputies said.
Breanne Groves, 20, of Brookville was flown by CareFlight to Miami Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.
An initial investigation showed Breanne Groves was driving south on Gordon Landis Road, when she drove into the path of a Ford F-250 truck going east on Alt. State Route 49.
The driver of the truck, Barry Henninger, 72, of Arcanum, was treated at the scene for his injuries. The homeowner of the home that was hit also was treated on the scene for injuries.
Darke County deputies are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash
